    job summary:
    Randstad is working with a health center in the Boston that is looking to hire a permanent Epic Application Specialist. This role will be dedicated to supporting the Epic Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience supporting Epic end users, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Ideally, the candidate will have experience with EPIC ambulatory, cadence, prelude, or resolute. This role has hybrid schedule and requires going onsite 3-4 days/week.

    responsibilities:
    -Customer Support
    -Provide on-site support to clinical, operations and patient care teams as a member of the Applications Team, with primarily responsibility for Epic Ambulatory EMR
    -Assist with Lab, Dental or Ancillary systems as needed
    -Troubleshoot reported problems and equipment issues as they occur, owning the problem and seeing it through to full resolution
    -Refer issues that require additional assistance to the IT/Help Desk and/or Vendor Help Desk
    -Communicate resolution to the user when completed
    -Monitor Error Pools
    -Understand current and future departmental and staff workflows and support staff when implementing new workflows as new Epic features are implemented
