Forest Properties Management, Inc. seeks an Acquisitions Analyst to join our Corporate team! We have grown significantly over the last ten years, and this role is crucial to our next phase of growth. The number one priority for this role is expanding the reach of our acquisitions efforts by systematically analyzing new markets and by developing relationships with brokers and other multifamily owners. The key goal is to expand the pipeline of available opportunities for our Company. Other duties include a broad range of items related to acquisitions, debt and equity, and asset management. Compensation is based upon qualifications and experience. Essential Functions:

• Deal sourcing expand our database of investment opportunities in our target markets and potential new markets.
• Systematically analyze potential new markets versus criteria that we develop internally.
• Develop a process for investment pipeline management and market analysis that we can incorporate into our future acquisition efforts.
• Business development attend industry events and join industry organizations; regularly meet with brokers in our target markets.
• Underwrite all aspects of multifamily investment opportunities including, but not limited to:
• Developing and applying quantitative models to determine value and return.
• Visiting comparable properties to ascertain appropriate rent levels for the market.
• Supply pipeline Utilize third party and primary research to compile a listing of all communities that are under construction, in lease-up, and breaking ground soon in our markets.Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Two to five years of experience in acquisitions, asset management, or related role for multifamily real estate.
  • Approximately 25% Travel (mostly day trips within New England).
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with an ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions without specific direction.
  • Analytical background and advanced knowledge of financial analysis and Excel modeling.
  • Mastery of the Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel; ability to learn new computer programs as necessary.About Us:Forest Properties Management, Inc. is a fully integrated real estate company focused exclusively on multifamily assets.
