About the Job
The Compensation Analyst is an integral part of the Rewards,
Analytics, and Development (RAD) Team. The role is responsible for
providing analytical and professional level support with a focus on
planning, developing, and administering compensation programs,
policies, and procedures. This team member is responsible for
maintaining pay structures, conducting market pricing, completing
market surveys, and analyzing compensation data. As a member of the
broader RAD Team, this individual partners with Talent Acquisition
in the candidate offer process, and with HR Operations for data to
complete proper evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and management of
company-wide compensation initiatives such as annual compensation
planning cycle, market impact analysis, production of annual total
rewards statements, and other projects as needed.
- Manage and maintain FMI's compensation data management tool
(PayFactors), including owning market data and the monthly refresh
of employee census data.
- Partner and provide guidance to People Strategy Leaders (PSLs)
and People Business Partners (PBPs) on compensation related
matters.
- Provide the first tier of internal and market compensation data
analysis and respond to questions regarding compensation
administration.
- Complete job evaluations using market pricing and internal
equity methodology.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
regulations, while reviewing and analyzing compensation practices
to maintain adherence to legal requirements.--
- Maintain monthly reporting to be used in monitoring
company-wide salary administration budget allocation and
usage.
- Complete salary survey submissions utilizing reporting from
Oracle and job matches from Payfactors.
- Other tasks to support Total Rewards and Human Resources as
assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2+ years of relevant compensation, analytical, or human
resources experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of compensation and compensation
programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite with advanced Microsoft Excel
skills.
- Experience with Oracle HCM and PayFactors
- Familiarity with Radford and Mercer salary surveys
- Demonstrated success of managing multiple concurrent
initiatives and maintaining one's own workflow
- Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines
- Familiarity with state and federal laws and OFCCP requirements
as they relate to compensation and human resources
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational
skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to present content in a
clear, concise manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy pertaining to
employee and company data
