global bakery manufacturing and distribution organization with 100
years of history. We built our Digital innovation Hub in Boston and
staffed the start-up with top talent from leading Boston eCommerce
firms like BJs, Blueport Commerce, Dunkin, Keurig, Sapient,
Staples, Vistaprint and Wayfair. The Boston office has a broad
mandate to drive the company s digital capabilities and reports to
our Boston-based Chief Digital Officer. This is an early-stage
opportunity to be a part of building our digital business from the
ground up leveraging an agile, headless commerce architecture with
the latest technologies across the digital ecosystem.Dawn is
looking for an Enterprise Architect with exceptional technical
acumen to ensure that we make scalable long-term decisions about
solution design and implementation of our digital platform. This is
an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact to steer our
digital journey and working with cutting edge technology.This role
will establish architectural standards and guidelines and will be
directly involved in the design and implementation of eCommerce
solutions. This position is Hybrid, with a requirement to work from
our Boston, MA office, 1-3 times a week.This role reports to our
Boston-based, VP, Digital.What You'll Do as a Digital Enterprise
Architect Collaborate with Business Partners, Digital and IT team
members on analysis and design tasks required for the development
of architecture models that achieve business driven outcomes.
Design, develop and enhance features based on best practices,
patterns and principles. Conduct code reviews and provide technical
guidance to onshore and offshore developers to ensure that our
solutions meet our requirement performance and security objectives.
Communicate the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap to
business leaders, IT Leaders, and other stakeholders. Evaluate and
recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to ensure the
performance, scalability, reliability, and security of the
eCommerce systems. Maintain thecatalogueof EAtechnical and
businessartifactsof the EA portfolio. Carry out change management
practices. Perform tasks and assignments requiring more advanced
knowledge in the field of specialization, and of the organization,
to develop recommendations to change policies or procedures.
Complete assigned projects according to plan and within a
fast-paced agile environment. 25% TravelTechnical Skills Required
OOP Languages: Java Web Services: SOAP, REST services, XML/XSL/XSD,
GraphQL Server and Client Web Development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS,
ReactJS, TypeScript, and NodeJS Middleware: Tomcat, Apache HTTP
Server, Nginx, or other major application server(s) Databases:
MySQL ERP: SAP, Netsuite or similar preferred ESB: Mulesoft, IBM or
similar NoSQL/Caching: Cassandra, Redis, Memcached Security: Secure
design and coding, scan tools, remediation, XSS, XSRF, SQLi, XMLi,
CORS, etc. Infra: Hands-on experience with GCP,
infrastructure-as-code toolset Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
Development Tools: Apache Maven, GitHub Environment: Experience
with Linux/RHEL and Bash scripting Testing: Continuous integration
and writing unit tests, set up and maintain DevOps toolsWhat Does
It Take to be a Digital Enterprise Architect Dawn Foods?Below are
the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. Bachelors in
computer science or related areas or equivalent experience. 7+
years of eCommerce systems experience, in-depth knowledge of
fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures. Substantial
knowledge of eCommerce (Platforms, CMS systems, Search Engines,
PIMs). Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a
service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data,
microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics. Proven
history implementing complex software solutions that align with
business goals and objectives with demonstrable results. Advanced
knowledge with a variety of IT technologies and business concepts,
specifically composable commerce. Experience working with an ERP
system integrating to eCommerce systems, SAP preferred. Knowledge
of cloud native deployments and development environments.
Understanding of project management, agile principles, and
development methodologies. Experience developing architecture
blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.Work EnvironmentThe physical
