The RoleWe re looking for a collaborative, team-focused Director - Business Analyst with a sharp attention to detail that can work across business and technology teams to ensure appropriate oversight and administration of third-party vendors. FDA leverages third-party solutions to enhance our internal operations and controls while accelerating our development of new products & services.\u00A0
The role will also have responsibilities in working with senior leadership on executive management reporting in support of the overall business.
As a Director - Business Analyst, you will be responsible for building a comprehensive program for ensuring current and future third-party vendor solutions meet enterprise and business unit requirements for ongoing oversight, administration, reporting, and documentation. These requirements are critical to ensuring we have a robust, safe, secure platform for our clients and our operations teams as we continue to grow as a business. This will involve ongoing, close coordination with the vendor management center of excellence, vendor relationship managers, operations, technology, risk, and compliance at both the firm and business unit level.
Responsibilities are expected to include:

  • Building first line of defense program to ensure all documentation required per oversight policies is appropriately received, saved, and kept up to date including supplier questionnaires, agreements, vendor technology reviews, DDIs, and SOC reports
  • Tracking and reporting vendor issues
  • Representing FDA in firm-wide vendor engagement centers of excellence to ensure alignment with best practices
  • Creating and maintaining business-unit vendor reporting, key metrics and documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, key stakeholders, product area leads, and management in supporting executive management reporting needs
  • Organize, track, and prioritize executive management reporting requests to completion
    The Expertise and Skills You Bring
    • Established (8+ years) track record of success in professional environment building and supporting operations, technology, or other programs with a keen attention to detail and ability to execute consistently over time
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including ability to tailor communication to stakeholders at various levels of technical and professional expertise
    • Ability to influence key decision makers through a combination of knowledge, reasoning and relationships
    • Prior experience in financial services or vendor management is a plus
    • Great organizational skills and proven ability to balance competing asks according to policy, urgency, and importance
    • Proven ability to simultaneously identify, prioritize and address multiple issues and respond to shifts in priorities
    • Comfort working across teams and locations, both internal to FDA and across the broader organization
    • Applied curiosity and experience digging deeper beyond initial stated ask to understand true needs and impacts and deliver solutions accordingly
