Position Summary:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quality
Control Technician to support the Quality Control Manager in
ensuring the successful implementation of our quality standards and
processes across heavy civil infrastructure projects. As a QC
Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining quality
assurance through direct supervision of quality control activities,
ensuring compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and
industry standards. This position will provide leadership in the
field, overseeing QC testing, inspections, and documentation while
helping to promote the company's core
values.Responsibilities:Actively promote and carry out company
Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures and ensure adherence to

Control Manager in implementing and maintaining the
project-specific Quality Control Plan.Supervise daily quality
control activities, including testing, inspections, and
documentation of self-performed work and subcontractor work.Ensure
compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and
contractual obligations for quality control.Work closely with field
personnel to monitor work quality and address non-compliance issues
as they arise.Assist in coordinating and scheduling third-party
quality control testing and inspections.Review and maintain QC
documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to
date.Conduct regular quality control inspections of materials and
workmanship and ensure corrective actions are taken for any
identified deficiencies.Assist in preparing and submitting QC
reports, daily inspection logs, and non-conformance reports
(NCRs).Participate in quality-related meetings, offering input and
recommendations to resolve quality-related issues.Monitor
subcontractor and supplier compliance with QC requirements and
collaborate with the QC Manager to address any
discrepancies.Provide quality control-related training to project
staff, ensuring proper execution of QC procedures.Assist in the
project close-out process by verifying that all punch list items
are completed in compliance with contract requirements.
Qualifications:Associate's degree or equivalent combination of
technical training and relevant experience in construction or
quality management.Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a
quality control or construction supervisory role.Solid
understanding of construction practices, specifications, and
quality control procedures.Ability to read and interpret
construction drawings, specifications, and industry
standards.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify
quality issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.Effective
communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project
teams, field crews, and subcontractors.Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in heavy civil
construction projects (e.g., highways, bridges, marine, or transit
facilities).American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certification
preferred.Additional certifications such as NETTCP or USACE
Construction Quality Manager certification are a plus. We offer our
