Role Summary:Direct and coordinate daily activities to promote the OEM sales and support of embedded engineering solutions, to achieve budgeted sales/profit, costs, financial metrics and customer satisfaction. Develop, propose and implement business strategy to gain market share and improve leadership for the targeted segment or account; including competitive analysis of products, services and selling techniques, internal technical needs and capabilities. Monitor target markets, identify new business opportunities, and propose / drive action plans to optimize Compass market penetration. Identify strategic accounts and lead the implementation of specific plans to become supplier of choice.Job Responsibilities:The successful candidate must have an excellent understanding of system on modules (SOM), Printed Circuit Board fabrication / embedded solutions as well as the technical background to engage in capability discussions with Engineering, Quality and Procurement organizations.Must have a proven track record in generating OEM profitable business growth with Embedded Electronics applications.The role will be responsible for all sales activities including development, strategy, and execution of the sales plan to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) sales numbers for the region.Identify and assist in leveraging opportunities with other Compass solutions.Identify and pursue new market and product opportunities with marketing and engineering.Input and update opportunity profile information and bring in appropriate support personnel.Provide guidance and presentation for solution differentiation with peers, customers and management.Develop and call on leads/prospects and turn into customers Develop relationships with prospects and customers and drive new business and an active sales funnel.Use CRM to manage business and enter all pertinent information (Account information, Contacts, Calls, Emails, Scheduled follow-ups and meetings, etc..)This person must have the ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Finance and Operations teams within Compass Electronics Solutions.The successful candidate must be able to develop, prepare and present high quality Sales presentations.Company Overview:Compass Electronics Solutions (CES) is the premier partner for the design, development, manufacturing, and support of the world's most innovative products. Minimum of 7 years' experience in a sales or business development role.Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, automation, etc.), business administration, marketing or equivalent work experience requiredMust be technically proficient and able to leverage that knowledge to solve technical problemsFunction as an industry expert able to articulate the value our products and our organization Competence with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.Familiarity and direct experience with CRMAbility to coordinate and work effectively with internal team membersHighly motivated individual, comfortable cold calling, developing new relationships, highly organized and strong time management skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing prioritiesObjective-oriented with a strong sense of ownershipParticipate in industry key functionsCoordinate key account efforts with Compass teams and business unitsGood negotiation skillsAlways hold yourself and your teammates to the 3 R's of business ethics (Respect, Responsible, and Results).Demonstrated project management skillsVery strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skillsThe ability to travel when requiredThe incumbent must meet the definition of US Person under ITAR/EAR regulations.Compass Electronics Solutions is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer/Vets/Disabled.PM21 PI133801426
