The Opportunity BDS is seeking a results oriented, successful, Sales Support & Technology Solutions Analyst reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. BDS maximizes customer retention by focusing 100% on the customer experience. The entire company is customer-obsessed, working as one team, paying attention to every detail while developing new ways to meet client needs and bring on new customers. The Sales Support & Technology Solutions Analyst will assist the sales department with software webinars, digital copying-printing systems software integration assessment, printing solutions, connected EFax an additional supportive solutions that tend to accompany the needs in office equipment copying and printing environment in order to help the sales department put together a proposal that includes the IT and system support needs from a technology perspective. This role will have the support of the Vice President of Sales and the CEO as BDS paves the way for continued growth. The position is based out of our Marlborough, MA Office Location however offers tremendous flexibility with a primary work environment would be the home office of the successful candidate. The role will require traveling throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island from time to time to meet at client locations for the customer facing portion of the role as a technical solutions analyst and consultant to the sales process. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high level of organization and attention to detail. A candidate with background in Managed IT may be well-positioned for this opportunity. Your Impact at BDS Become an expert within BDS---s diverse technology and service offering, value proposition, customer landscape and complexities Implement the process, systems, and technology required to support the delivery of successful customer projects regarding office equipment, copier and printer technology. Partner with Sales in pre-qualification and scoping to ensure that high-quality deals are sold and lead to successful customer outcomes Participate and take part in customer demonstrations, webinars and presentations of technology Training Sales Representatives on equipment, hardware, technology, and solutions Perform technical demonstrations both remotely via webinar and in person at client locations for prospects and customers on hardware and software functionality Onboarding of new technology, equipment and collaborating with the Service and Installation Departments Promote consistency and technical knowledge throughout the customer journey Respond to field sales requests for services proposals, contracts, or customer meetings Participate in regular field sales and sales management calls mostly remote but at times in the customer office to assist the sales representatives would scoping out the correct configuration for technology and software. Engage BDS---s customers to ensure expectations are being met from a technology in a solutions standpoint to support the needs of the BDS sales department and lead sales representatives. Assisting the sales department in all things technology in order to achieve/over-achieve on quarterly revenue targets What You---ll Need to be Successful Experience working within a high-growth Business Hardware, Technology or Service Based Business Preferred Managed IT organization or IT experience preferred Superior communication skills and strong attention to detail Experience working as a sales representative in a technology-based company preferred but not required Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Proven experience within team development, training, and guidance Exceptional customer service and communication skills; effective problem resolution and client satisfaction Strong systems skills including Excel, Microsoft office and CRM---s Demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including excellent ability to create and deliver presentations, present information, and respond to questions. 4 Years of applicable experience, supporting a sales team within a rapidly growing technology company in a highly competitive market Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; MBA preferred Results-oriented achiever who balances a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration. Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
