In this critical sales role you get to enhance relationships with our amazing customers, manage all sales and forecasting of your assigned accounts, work closely with independent sales reps in the country, and partner with the Thermacell Marketing Team to ensure programs are supporting sales growth and align with retailer expectations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships, collaboration, and is hungry for driving their business results and personal growth. Position Status: ExemptReports to: Director, Canadian Business Hours: Typically 8-5p but we do what it takes to get the job done and thrill our customersLocation: Remote (East Coast Time Zone)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -- Manages mid-tier accounts (estimated annual revenue $8M)-- Develop selling strategies that will lead to increased sales while maintaining historic profit levels.-- Develop specific account plans for mid-tier customers in market.-- Create selling materials that will deliver the appropriate message.-- Work with the Director, Canadian Business to ensure selling strategy aligns with marketing strategy and national goals.-- Partner, engage, and motivate independent sales reps (approx. 8) to work aggressively on our product lines. -- Provide product forecasts by item and month for all items sold to mid-tier accounts.-- Create promotional plans within established guidelines to motivate retailers to lead the category with Thermacell. -- Work with independent reps and mid-tier account to gain more than our fair share of display space at all of your managed retailers.-- Attend trade shows, including industry shows in support of your customers (estimated 5-10 per year)-- Effectively communicate market trends, competitive info,and retailer actions to organization in a timely manner. -- Participate in company meetings and use your experience to help drive growth initiatives.-- Participate fully in the culture of TRI looking always for ways to live our values and encourage co-workers to engage with our mission.-- Ad Hoc Duties as assigned THE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE -- Highly motivated individual who loves the selling process -- Comfortable in high-pressure selling situations and should be able to present effectively to groups -- Enjoys prospecting for new business - remaining persistent and be able to accept rejection -- Highly organized with a natural attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects -- An effective communicator both with internal and external partners and customers -- Engaging presenter, storyteller to buyers and independent representatives -- Strong collaboration and team orientation - ease of working with others throughout the organization -- Disciplined in use of structured processes and creation of detailed documentation -- Common sense approach to managing business and problem resolution -- Strong communication and people skills -- Highly resourceful. Ability to get things done, where resources are constrained, and a hands-on approach is needed.-- Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.-- Intrinsically motivated, a relentless work ethic -- Team player who believes in winning together and enjoys a high-performance environment.-- Even keeled (stays calm and leads through challenging, stressful times).-- Self-starter and fast-learner-- Thrive in fast-paced, nimble environment-- Good fit with Thermacell values (Absolute Integrity, Can-Do Spirit, Thrilling Consumers, Learn-Grow-Adapt, Work Hard/Play Hard/Stay Humble).REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE -- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience -- A minimum of four-year experience selling to retail account headquarters & knowledge of how retail accounts go to market -- Excellent understanding of managing a seasonal business-- Ability to travel (up to 30% estimated under normal business travel conditions) -- Experienced in working with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel & PowerPoint) -- Experience selling to sporting goods, outdoor channels or lawn & garden a major plus -- Individual with experience managing independent reps or brokers preferred -- Experience with NetSuite ERP preferred COMPENSATION Compensation for this position will include a competitive base salary as well as an Annual Target Bonus Plan tied to company and individual performance goals.
