Job Description:

Architect, design, implement, test, and document software development

efforts at every step of the software development lifecycle. Design and

develop software, including specifications and code. Perform unit

functional testing, debugging, troubleshooting, integration, and

deployment. Trouble shoot and debug software design, implementation, and

integration. Assist in design reviews and release of software. Prepare

software engineering documents and documentation. Prepare Change Control

Reports. Analyze current design and operational procedures, and identify

issues. Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test

procedures, and quality standards. Create detailed design, data flow

diagrams, data definition tables, data mappings, data models, and system

integrations. Identify, develop, and manage business and functional

requirements specifications by creating Use Cases, Sequence and Entity

relationship diagrams. Analyze malfunctions and program issues. Create test

plans for functional testing, including spot testing. Maintain, coordinate,

monitor, and modify programs and systems based on troubleshooting

relationship diagrams. Analyze malfunctions and program issues. Create test

using required tools and technologies.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science

or Computer Engineering and five (5) years of experience programming using

Qt and C++ to lead the user interface software integration efforts on a

variety of projects within the high speed, laser-based cell analysis and

sorting products. Experience to include: 5 years of experience

architecting, designing, developing, and testing the Graphical User

Interface for touch screen desktop cell sorters using Qt Qwt, C++, and QML

on Windows or Linux platforms; 5 years of experience architecting,

designing and implementing graphical user interfaces using Qt 5 and Qt C++

frameworks; 4 years of experience using XML data models to architect,

design and implement data driven software modules and software subsystems;

and 3 years of experience with multithreading, real-time systems and

socket programming.
