Job Description:
A mission-driven nonprofit organization in Boston is seeking a
Communications Manager for a full-time, temp-to-perm role with an
immediate start. The position requires 35-40 hours per week, with
at least two days per week on site at their Boston office located
on Boylston Street. Compensation is $34/hour. The organization
focuses on addressing food, nutrition, and health inequities
through cross-sector collaboration, innovation, and knowledge
sharing.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead strategic communications and project management, including
major events like the Fall Summit and national prize
initiative.
Develop and execute a communications strategy across digital
platforms, reports, and branded materials.
Create and manage content for website, newsletters, social media,
PowerPoint decks, and print collateral.
Collaborate with staff, partners, and vendors on communications
deliverables and content production.
Track performance metrics, represent the organization
professionally, and support excellent event execution.
Candidate Qualifications:
7+ years of communications experience, ideally in a nonprofit or
mission-driven setting.
Proven ability to manage multiple communications projects with
precision and strategic thinking.
Strong writing, editing, project management, and digital
communication skills.
Proficiency with tools like Canva, Constant Contact, Microsoft
Office, and social media platforms.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred, with a strong
interest in food, nutrition, and health equity.
