Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Boston, MA. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 9:30am to 8pm. - Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures. - Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy. - Prepare patients for surgery as requested. - Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed. - Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques. - Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation. Job Requirements: - CST required - Certified by the national accrediting body in compliance with MA state law. - BLS. - A background in Ophthalmic technology. - 2 years of experience.
